About My Knowledge Dock
We build free, private financial calculators that help you make confident money decisions.
We build free, private financial calculators that help you make confident money decisions.
My Knowledge Dock is a small independent website offering free finance calculators for readers in the United States and the United Kingdom. Our tools cover the decisions that matter most — buying a home, refinancing a mortgage, taking out a loan, understanding your paycheck and growing your savings — and each one pairs an instant calculator with plain-English guidance so you understand not just the number, but what drives it.
Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your web browser using standard financial formulas — the same amortisation maths lenders use, official IRS tax brackets, and the time-value-of-money formulas taught in finance courses. There is no account to create and nothing to install. Because the calculations happen on your device, the numbers you enter — your income, debts, home prices — are never sent to our servers.
We label estimates as estimates. Tax figures use published 2026 IRS numbers, state taxes use clearly-marked simplifications, and every results panel notes what is and is not included. The calculators are planning tools, not financial advice: for decisions involving large sums, please also speak to a qualified professional such as a mortgage adviser, tax preparer or fiduciary financial planner.
My Knowledge Dock is free to use: no paywalls, no accounts, no subscriptions. We currently show no third-party advertising.
